Celebrate Recruiting!
Websites such as ERE, Fordyce Letter, xtremerecruiting.tv and numerous others are offering an increasingly dizzying array of “free tips”, articles and video clips by recruiting trainers whose experience may range from legitimate to questionable.
While access to such vast amounts of “recruiting secrets” is helpful to recruiters, it is also more easily accessible than ever to client companies and hiring managers.
Is it detrimental to our industry to have so much information previously reserved for closed door hotel seminars and conference halls now open to the scrutiny of our very own clients?
Should training material and knowledge be kept for industry insiders only through membership and secure access? Or should this material be made available to whomever desires to study it? What are your thoughts? Post a reply.
