Frank does Vegas – Again!
Another Vegas conference presentation … my favorite place to conference!
I just returned from spending three days at the brand new Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas attending the 2009 National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) annual conference. CLICK FOR MORE GREAT PICTURES …
Doug Wilson from “Trading Spaces” would have have been so proud of the room’s wall design! Doug was notorious for being the most stubborn designer who always decorated walls chocolate brown. In classic Las Vegas style the walls were a cheap looking stitched vinyl in dark brown – not my taste but it was great for sleeping in as it kept things dark.
In the next picture – I had just finished my presentation – and Doug Beabout was gearing up to start his.
I had a number of influential, “heavy hitters” in the room, Regional Directors of several NAPS chapters including the Mid-Atlantic, New England Regions, Former New Jersey Staffing Alliance president, and Jeff Kaye of Kaye-Bassman in Dallas and Doug Beabout … even Pat Turner, the esteemed editor of www.eminfo.com and the Employment Marketplace were hanging on every word.
This was NOT a room of rookies – but a room of deca-multi-million dollar producers and big business builders!
Next are a few pictures of the hotel grounds … I had a gorgeous view of the entire Las Vegas strip from my window – the spots are unfortunately on the outside of the glass and there was nothing I could do about the windows (they were being cleaned during our stay).
